Much of what is written in this little book is a result of what I saw, learned, and felt during our missions internship overseas. I am aware that many missionary wives could write a book with much greater insight than I have. I only know the journey on which God has brought me so far. The words contained in the following pages chronicle the lessons He has brought to my heart. If they can be a blessing and encouragement to you, all the glory goes to Him. If someone can come away with a better understanding of Biblically-based world missions, then I praise his name. 

My desire through the time spent overseas was for God to grow me spiritually, and moreover that He would grow me deeply--deep enough to withstand the storms of life and to be found faithful, deep enough to weather the life of a missionary wife. What a special calling and what an honor! I'd do it all again for His name.
