Description
Riley, Dr. W.B.
Gambling is sometimes called the "clean" sin. Supposedly inconsequential things like lottery tickets and Bingo cards are simple "diversions"--physically harmless fun. But behind the concept of gambling are a world of corruption and the blight of moral degradation--the refuse of dishonest gain, dethroning of God, loss of character, neglect of responsibility, a misuse of honest earnings, as well as an abuse of family and friends. The gambling environs are full of other debris, such as drunkenness, blasphemy and dishonesty (lying and cheating)--the litter of amusement without proper values. Dr. W. B. Riley aggressively addresses the fact that gambling is a corrupting, ungodly influence and is trash that belongs on the rubbish heap.
