Monthir Abdullatif, From Darness into Lightfocuses on the testimony of the author, Monthir Abdullatif. The events of the book tell about his life in Iraq. He was raised in the Islamic faith. He faithfully performed his religious duties hoping to reach the living God. However, all of his efforts had no value or meaning to him. 

Monthis then read about Jesus Christ in the book of Islam  (the Qur'an). There he found Jesus Christ, the Holy One, and through the Holy Spirit was led to the Divine Truth. 

Since his personal encounter with the Lord, he no longer lives in darkness but in the true Light...Jesus Christ, the Saviour.
